We look at the terrible world of Female Genital Mutilation, a scourge suffered by millions of women around the world. We will do so guided by Asha Ismail, a Somali woman who suffered the terrible cut when she was a little girl which has affected here physical and psychologically the rest of her life. Through her organization, Save a Girl Save a Generation, she tries to fight this custom so that young girls do not suffer what she went through.

We hear her story in her house in Madrid and we visit various places in Africa where this horrible practice continues today. We witness the mutilation of two girls and try to investigate through Asha the reasons behind which mothers mutilate their daughters.
